I read three of the nominees frequently &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/dustmybroom.com\/\">Dust My Broom<\/a> [home of MOT &amp; Friday night blues and beer], <a href=\"http:\/\/toyoufromfailinghands.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Torch<\/a> [home of the Canadian Heroes blogroll], and <a href=\"http:\/\/theredneckmommy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Redneck Mommy<\/a> [home of a hilarious and heartwarming woman].<\/p>\n<p>I can&#8217;t tell you who to vote for but if it wasn&#8217;t one of these three, may terrify&#8217;n space monkeys attack you and all your loved ones.\u00a0 For safety reasons I&#8217;m not divulging where my vote went.\u00a0 I highly recommend you click the <a href=\"http:\/\/2008.weblogawards.org\/polls\/best-canadian-blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">pretty link and go vote<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Now, outside of the Cdn blogger category I have no problems telling you who to vote for &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/2008.weblogawards.org\/polls\/best-celebrity-blogger\/\">Best Celebrity blogger<\/a> is hands down <a href=\"http:\/\/wilwheaton.typepad.com\/\">Wil Wheaton<\/a>.\u00a0 His blog is at times hilarious, heartwarming, and always a good source of geekery.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/wilwheaton.typepad.com\/\">Read<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/wilw\">Follow<\/a>.\u00a0 Now.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/2008.weblogawards.org\/polls\/best-comic-strip\/\">Best Comic Strip<\/a> = <a href=\"http:\/\/www.xkcd.com\/ \">xkcd<\/a> but only because the magnificent home of the Fancy Bastards, <a href=\"http:\/\/hijinksensue.com\/\">HijiNKS Ensue<\/a> wasn&#8217;t on the final list of nominees.<\/li>\n<li>Since <a href=\"http:\/\/toyoufromfailinghands.blogspot.com\/\">The Torch<\/a> didn&#8217;t make it as a finalist in this category, the <a href=\"http:\/\/2008.weblogawards.org\/polls\/best-military-blog\/\">Best Military blog<\/a> award should go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blackfive.net\/main\/\">Blackfive<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelyon-online.com\/\">Michael Yon<\/a> deserves an honourable mention for his coverage of his time in Afghanistan. I&#8217;m uncertain if he really fits in this category because his writing covers so much more than just military matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are a tonne of other <a href=\"http:\/\/2008.weblogawards.org\/polls\/\">categories<\/a> to explore and vote in.
