Didn’t get as much accomplished today as I would have liked. Then again, the day isn’t over yet.<\/p>\n
Got a great start to my day. My new boss called to welcome me to my new job and give me some information regarding where I will be meeting up with her on the first day of work. I really like the amount of contact I’ve had with my new employers these past few days. It’s nice to be wanted.<\/p>\n
A few minutes later I got a call for an interview for a job I’d applied for many weeks ago. It paid more than the one I accepted but wasn’t really what I was looking for so I didn’t feel too bad turning down the interview. A few of my co-workers also applied for the job. Hopefully they’ll get calls for interviews for the position and find it more to their liking. <\/p>\n
After the call I spent the remainder of the morning studying symptoms and treatment for PTSD. The afternoon was spent picking up groceries and searching for shoes. <\/p>\n
No luck in the shoe department. The ones I liked were all too big to fit properly. Think I’ll put off looking for dress shoes for a few more days. I really dislike shoe shopping!<\/p>\n
