Haven’t managed too much running since doc cleared me to try small amounts. first week was 1x4s (1 minute walking, 1 minute running x4) for a max of 4 minutes, 3 times a week. I only managed to get out twice.<\/p>\n
This week I’m allowed to do 1×6 but have only managed to get out running once so far. I also only managed 5 minutes. My knee began to ache a little and I really didn’t want to risk damaging it. It’s been rainy these past few days and I’m far too nervous about running in poor conditions (overcast is fine, rain not so much) because I’m worried about slipping and possibly damaging my knee. Rehab has taught\u00a0to take everything slowly… one stair step at a time.<\/p>\n
I’m also running out of clothes to wear to work. I think I need to look for a pair of pants (or two) this week. The ones I’m wearing today can be pulled on and off without unbuttoning them. Not something that I want in a pair of dress pants. They just make me look frumpy. Time for them to be replaced and donated.<\/p>\n
I have the same “problem” with a few pairs of jeans but I don’t mind it so much with them. I just\u00a0wear a\u00a0nice wide belt with them. Doesn’t look as nice with dress pants though…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
