Welcome to the 12th edition of the screaming pages<\/em> Thursday Thirteen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

For Christmas, the exercise fairy brought pedometers to myself and a fellow co-worker. We’ve set up a daily challenge to see who walks around the center most on a day-to-day basis. I’m winning most days – mainly because Boo keeps forgetting her pedometer at home. Being a curious sort, I like to calculate how many steps it takes to get me where I need to go around the office. Multiply these numbers by a bazillion trips a day, and you get an idea of how much running around I can do in an average 8 hour shift.<\/p>\n

This week’s Thursday Thirteen<\/a> calculates how many steps it takes to get around the office assuming I start the (one way) journey at my cubicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
