{"id":56,"date":"2006-07-20T22:59:58","date_gmt":"2006-07-20T22:59:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/valianthosting.ca\/clients\/daemon\/?p=56"},"modified":"2006-07-20T22:59:58","modified_gmt":"2006-07-20T22:59:58","slug":"i-saw-the-light","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/screamingpages.net\/?p=56","title":{"rendered":"i saw the light"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s sunny today.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know how long the sun will stay out from behind the clouds, but I plan on basking in it for as much time as I can before the rain returns.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday morning I saw my first cockroach.\u00a0 I was outside with Pau at lunchtime and saw a huge bug climb rapidly up the wall.\u00a0 Of couse I had to ask her what it was.\u00a0 Without batting an eye, I was informed that it was a cockroach.\u00a0 Apparently they&#8217;re not all that uncommon of a sight in the area we were in.<\/p>\n<p>I know, I&#8217;m a bit of a freak.\u00a0 Making it into my third decade never having see one outside of movies before.\u00a0 Mom kept a thoroughly clean (and sparkly) house when I was growing up and despite my own noticably lacking housekeeping skills, we&#8217;ve never lived anywhere where there was even a whisper of the big ugly bug.\u00a0 Now I&#8217;ve seen one, the thrill is over. \u00a0You can all go back to your regularly scheduled programming.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s sunny today.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know how long the sun will stay out from behind the clouds, but I plan on basking in it for as much time as I can before the rain returns.
