Joss has posted about Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog over at Whedonesque.  All I can say about it is “damn, the man can write.”

I realize that some people have been in comas or climbing mt. everest and may not be aware of the upcoming Interweeb spectacular that is Dr. Horrible.  Why you’d spend time in a coma or mountain climbing when you could be watching The Guild or prepping for Dr. Horrible is beyond me – but to each his own.

Here’s what you need to know.  Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog episodes will appear at http://www.drhorrible.com/.  What’s it about?  It’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to. To top it all off, it’s a Joss Whedon project that also includes the writing talents of brothers Jed and Zack and Maurissa Tancharoen. With all of this going for it – and the inclusion of Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, Felicia Day as Penny, the show is bound to be awesome.

ONE WEEK ONLY! AN INTERNET MINISERIES EVENT!

“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” will be streamed, LIVE (that part’s not true), FREE (sadly, that part is) right on Drhorrible.com, in mid-July. Specifically:

ACT ONE (Wheee!) will go up Tuesday July 15th.

ACT TWO (OMG!) will go up Thursday July 17th.

ACT THREE (Denouement!) will go up Saturday July 19th.

All acts will stay up until midnight Sunday July 20th. Then they will vanish into the night, like a phantom (but not THE Phantom – that’s still playing. Like, everywhere.)
