Things to do on your day off
Dropped into work today together my flu shot and dragged Drew with me. Figures it would be a good time for Drew to say hi to my co-workers he met in the past and a chance for him to meet the new ones.
I can’t believe I’ve been missing work. Spent way too much time putting out small fires via email during the afternoon. I think I need to look deep into my psyche to find out why that might be.
While I was studying this afternoon Drew was out picking up important supplies – ice melt, dog food and cat food. Not enough to make it through his entire absence but enough to cut down on the number of trips I’ll need to make cross town to pick up snacks for the munchkins.
And now apparently its time for me to go back to reading my chapter summary notes… Hope some of what I’m reading sticks in the head until tomorrow afternoon.
