Slowly starting to run again

Very excited so I just had to share.
Admittedly, it wasn’t much. I consider it a huge coup to have gotten cleared by my physiotherapist to do 1 &1s (run 1, walk 1) for five reps this week. Provided I don’t experience any knee pain that is.
I was cleared to walk 15 mins at a time last week.
Xrays came back with no bone spurs under patella and no torn ligaments, tendons, or cartiledge (sp?) issues.
Feels like lots of progress is being made. Still not a fan of the modified squats she has me doing with swiss ball & soccer ball. Seems to be helping to strengthen the supports around my knee though.

Considering how afraid I am of heights, I might end up running on treadmills in the ship’s gym. If I can figure out how to run on a treadmill. Won’t be running much by then, maybe 3-4 minutes at a time with 1 min walking breaks. Very happy there’s a gym on board though. Going to need it if I go way overboard on food *eep*
