Welcome to the 10th edition of the screaming pages Thursday Thirteen.

I’m one step closer to getting to India and the Philippines today. This week’s Thursday Thirteen is a list of things I need to do to prepare for the trip.

Thirteen Things about SHE. Travel Prep.

  1. Get approval for the travel estimate so I can book my flight.
  2. Book the flights and hotel reservations.
  3. Call the Traveller’s Health clinic and verify if my vaccinations are still up-to-date.
  4. Obtain a copy of the business invitiation letter for my travel visa application.
  5. Have two 2×2 photos taken for the travel visa application.
  6. Buy a money order (once again, for the visa app.)
  7. Buy a return envelope for the visa application.
  8. Mail my visa application to the Consulate in Vancouver.
  9. Pickup anti-malarial pills and anti-biotics.
  10. Buy a backup battery for my laptop.
  11. Buy new locks for my suitcases – the ones that can be opened by the airport authority if necessary.
  12. Pack my bags.
  13. Load the iPod with music, load the laptop with eBooks, and pack traditional books for the journey.
