So, I quit my job without having another one lined up. March 31st is my last day with my current company. Today was spent searching for a new job.
Welcome to the 18th edition of the screaming pages Thursday Thirteen.
The job hunt begins…

Thirteen places I applied to work at today.
- University of Alberta
- NorQuest College
- IBM
- Intuit
- Province of Alberta
- City of Edmonton
- Dell
- North American Construction Group
- AADAC
- ATB Financial
- RBC Financial Group
- National Research Council
- Legislative Assembly of Alberta
Tomorrow is a new day with lots of other places to apply. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m open to learning where else might be a good place to try and find a job/career.
Get the Thursday Thirteen code here!
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! You must feel very liberated!! (I know I did that last time I handed in my resignation) Best wishes with the NEW JOB search. May you find something thats fulfilling, challenging, satisfying and pays gobs of money. 🙂

Good luck with the job search! Sadly, I don’t know anything about where an instructional designer might apply. Sorry!
But, back to the handing-in-your-resignation…have you stopped smiling yet? (I was smiling and laughing at anything remotely non-depressing for two days.)

Okay, WHY didn’t I see this in my feed reader sooner????
(don’t answer that, okay? the answer is probably akin to “Because you’re an idiot, Susan.”)
No clue how to help with the job hunt, except ifyou catch me while I’m actually here at the computer, I can help you write killer cover and/or thank-you letters.
