We’re a quarter of the way through the new year and I’m over half way to my goal of reading 52 books this year. Knowing that I read a lot, perhaps I should have set a more robust goal. Despite being on vacation this week, I’ve been a little lax in my reading – mostly because I’m spending quite a bit of time looking for a new job.
I’m breaking the list down into two parts. The fist list will contain paperback and hardcover books I’ve been able to find and list on Shelfari and the second list contains all the eBooks I’ve been reading that I can’t figure out how to add to Shefari yet. Their ISBN’s don’t bring up any information. If anyone knows how to get an eBook added to Shelfari, please let me in on the secret.

I’m thinking at this point that you’re going to make it handily.
I’m also nipping at your heels; I’ve got 30 books read so far this year. I’m a little off my usual pace of 12 a month, but hey, it’s all about Soy Sauce at West of Mars right now — how can you read when there’s Soy Sauce to discuss? *grin*

I LOVE Christopher Moore … The sequel to “Bloodsucking Fiends” just arrived in my Amazon.com box … Can’t wait to read it although I do have a few ahead in the queue. Have you read any of the “Monkeewrench” books by PJ Tracy? I believe that you’d like them. Three are in paperback and the fourth is still in hardcover only. I’m a high school teacher and I built SSR into my daily lessons so that I could read about fifty-two free-choice books a year (in addition to those professional titles we HAVE to read).
Good luck with the job hunt …

It’s funny you mentioned the PJ Tracy series. I just logged them in bookcrossing and am shipping them off to an interested reader in Alberta later this week.
