how can you sleep at night?

The rest of us are all a squee with excitement!  The first installment of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog will appear at http://www.drhorrible.com/ on July 15th.

According to Whedonesque, Joss is working on ensuring that us ‘foreigners’ can download and watch the episodes.  I’m really hoping he’s got it all sorted out by now.

What’s it about?  It’s the story of a low-rent super-villain, the hero who keeps beating him up, and the cute girl from the laundromat he’s too shy to talk to. To top it all off, it’s a Joss Whedon project that also includes the writing talents of brothers Jed and Zack and Maurissa Tancharoen. With all of this going for it – and the inclusion of Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer, Felicia Day as Penny, the show is bound to be awesome.

To borrow a few lines from Joss’ blog post:

ONE WEEK ONLY! AN INTERNET MINISERIES EVENT!

“Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” will be streamed, LIVE (that part’s not true), FREE (sadly, that part is) right on Drhorrible.com, in mid-July. Specifically:

ACT ONE (Wheee!) will go up Tuesday July 15th.

ACT TWO (OMG!) will go up Thursday July 17th.

ACT THREE (Denouement!) will go up Saturday July 19th.

All acts will stay up until midnight Sunday July 20th. Then they will vanish into the night, like a phantom (but not THE Phantom – that’s still playing. Like, everywhere.)

To learn more, click on the shiny blue Dr. Horrible button on the left sidebar.

  1. There was a chance we might not have gotten to see the awesomeness of Dr Horrible because we live in Canada? But Nathan’s from Canada! That seems just wrong.

I hope all of that has been rectified. Or there will be some very annoyed people.
