oh my aching feet

Spent the day at a trade show.  I’ve learned a few things during my wanders through the aisles of displays.

  • I’m not a big fan of aimless shopping. I prefer the figure out what you want, go in and get it method of shopping.
  • There’s never enough places to sit in a trade show but A and Loxley can find all of them.
  • After 5 hours of aimless wandering through aisles ankles and feet begin to hurt.
  • If you stop walking or slow down after walking for many hours, you really begin to notice that your feet have started to hurt.
  • There’s never enough bathrooms in the trade show venues.

Thank goodness we had wonderful people to spend the day with.

  1. Welcome to our world. Just a few comments though.
    1. What do the hell we want anyway? Don’t know until you get there, and thank heavens we had new eyes and perspective this time. There were several items we would have walked past if it hadn’t been for those wonderful friends.
    2. A & L were blessings in disguise.
    3. It took 5 hours for your feet to hurt. Oh to be young again.
    4. Unfortunately, once you’ve been there a few times, you establish some relationships and since you only see these people a couple of times a year, they want to talk. P likes to talk too (you may have noticed that).
    5. There are plenty of bathrooms there. They just hide them well.

It was a fun day. I was really glad to have Gloria, Maurice, Doug, Colleen and Denise helping out. Maybe sometime you guys can come too!!
