app suggestions welcome

To date all of the best apps – with the exception of twitterific & eReader (everyone knows about them) – I’ve found for my iPhone were discovered through word of mouth (or blog). So go ahead. Leave a comment. Tell me which apps you can’t live without. And why. I’m interested and ready to play.

Favourite iPhone learning of the day – WiFi in the backyard. Perhaps this shall save me from the evils of Canadian data package costs.

  1. I’ve heard facebook is cool. I opted out of an iphone or crackberry when I was on the lookout for a PDA. I hardly use my cell phone as it is.

  2. I love Timmy Me, because only in Canada would we have an application to locate the nearest Tim Horton’s using the phone’s GPS.

I also downloaded a “flashlight” application which turns the screen all one colour.

Oh, and because it was wonderfully random, I downloaded the Chanel Fall collection. When you look at the pictures and turn the phone sideways, it gives you closeups of the accessories. Completely useless, and yet, such a conversation piece.

  3. I picked up Facebook, twitterific and WordPress to iPhone on the first night. And Flashlight. I liked the idea of a blob of light at a concert. I’ve also got two ebook readers because you can never have too many books 🙂 Mustn’t forget PacMan lite. Will check out the Timmies locator – can always use more coffee.
