ProLinks – Links for Progressive Information

I’ve come across the blog Pinoy Stupid a number of times in my travels through the ‘net. As someone who has visited the Philippines, I found a connection with the writer that often resulted in my smiling and laughing (or nodding my head) when reading the posts.

Recently while visiting Pinoy Stupid I came across the ProLinks concept. In the blogging world, traffic is king. There are a number of ways to gain additional traffic on your blog with link exchange programs being the most popular. The downside of most of these programs is that bloggers participating in these types of programs have no idea if people are bothering to read their content and if their ideas and commentary make a difference in anyone’s lives.

ProLinks is a link exchange website that promotes not just blogs and URLs. We promote CONTENT. We fight the battle against illiteracy by featuring blogs that contain meaningful content. We make your words echo over the internet, make it flow like a steady stream of water and break seemingly solid boundaries. We build a compendium of blogs with a mission and a vision – to progress towards a literate, more intelligent world.

It’s an intriguing idea and I’m thrilled to be a part of this new undertaking. I don’t know if we’ll be able to meet the stated goals, but I am very interested in trying. Please take a few minutes out of your busy day to visit the site and learn more about the project.
