I’m late! I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date! This week’s Thursday Thirteen is a list of my excuses for my late posting this week.

Thirteen Things about SHE. Thirteen excuses for my late TT.

  1. I had to shovel snow.
  2. I worked the weekend and forgot what day it was.
  3. The dogs ate my Thursday Thirteen homework.
  4. I got caught up trying to figure out what books I was going to read for Zoe’s read-a-ton challenge.
  5. I was cleaning in preparation for the No Kidding! games night at our house this weekend.
  6. I had to wash my hair.
  7. The neighbours needed help pushing their car (it was broken into and the steering column damaged) into the garage.
  8. I had to go out on a beer run.
  9. I had to put up the outside Christmas lights.
  10. Did I mention I had to shovel snow?
  11. The cat litter-box needed to be cleaned.
  12. I was shopping (online) for Christmas presents.
  13. I was shopping for items for my holiday hamper.

    But…the date on the entry says 12/7/2006. Did you backdate, or is your T13 “late” if it’s not posted late Wednesday evening? 😀

    You could always use the excuse “Well, you see, on the other side of the International Date Line across the Pacific Ocean, it was technically still Wednesday. I didn’t want to seem *too* early, out of a sudden consideration to all those participants who live in Asia.”

    A-hem.

    I didn’t backdate the entry, but I didn’t have a chance to get it up until Thursday evening. I guess I just felt guilty for not getting it in earlier in the day.

    From my experience, the international date line doesn’t work that way for me. It’s always a day ahead in India, Philippines and Australia ;(
