So long and thanks for all the fish*

My header graphic has changed – I’m safely back in Bangalore and my cell phone seems to be working *knock on wood*

There’s never enough time to see and do everything we want when traveling on business. As I mentioned last week, my trip to Manila was cut a few weeks short and with the 12-17 hour work days, it just wasn’t possible to see everyone. In fact, I really didn’t see anyone at all. Of course, I did get to visit with co-workers in the office, but I barely had time to glimpse Pau and Jing and didn’t see Eula at all. I’m passing through for about 12 hours next Sunday and have already booked time to see all three of them for the afternoon and evening.

I did manage to get to Greenhills for a few hours on my last day and grab up some magnetic bracelets. I really love giving these as gifts, so it should come as no surprise when people find them in their birthday and Christmas packages this year…

Thank goodness for small mercies though. Since Ted is remaining in Manila for another 2 weeks, I was able to leave my now broken (yes, the new suitcase has no handle) suitcase in his room until I pass through Manila again to fly home to Canada next weekend. At least I didn’t have to try and lug that back through Singapore and pay the huge overage charges again! I can’t believe the travel agency booked me on a limited luggage ticket. I had to pay a small fortune to bring the second suitcase from India to Manila and since I had to make the trip twice more in a week, I was really dreading flying back and forth with two bags!

  1. Honestly, I don’t know how you do it. Just a couple of days travel completely exhausts me. I admire your stamina.
